The Advantages of Fontana

Heavy-duty Construction

A bent-steel dome construction for maximum stability and durability. The dome is formed utilizing all solid-weld construction using 2.5mm 441 stainless steel that is reinforced with a 5mm Corten steel panel. The exterior is constructed using 2.5mm 304 stainless steel & painted surfaces are electro-galvanized before powder-coating for long-lasting corrosion resistance.

Innovative Design

Our unique cooking chamber, domed front-to-back and side-to-side, eliminates hot spots and ensures uniform heat distribution. Our proprietary exhaust design allows smoke to exit even when the door is closed for maximum heat retention and consistent cooking temperatures.

Fontana Forni was the first company to manufacture metal, woodfired, pizza ovens back in 1978. Our competitors only began manufacturing metal, woodfired, pizza ovens during the last decade.

Precise Temperature Control

A variable adjustable, stainless steel chimney cap for precise temperature control & maximum heat retention. Our oven door is designed & sized to strike the perfect balance between maximum heat retention and optimum interior maneuverability. This affords us the maximum temperature rating of 900°F / 482.2°C; the highest on the market.

Maximum Insulation

A full 12 centimeters of insulation surrounds the cooking chamber (back, sides, top, & underneath) to maximize heat retention and cooking efficiency. Our ovens are so well insulated that the exterior is safe to the touch while at cooking temperature.

Unparalleled Performance & Options

Over-engineered & built for maximum heat refraction, retention, and efficiency. Countertop or standalone variations are available of both ourwood-fired & gas-fired(propane & natural gas) pizza ovens. Optional Saputo pizza stone, Neapolitan pizza stone hand-made in Naples, Italy, a Fontana Forni USA exclusive.
