SUPERIOR MATERIALS & CONSTRUCTION
Our consumer ovens are constructed using 2.5 millimeter 441 (interior) & 304 (exterior) stainless steel, 12 centimeter thick insulation, and corrosion-resistant, powder-coated metal. Many other brands use lighter, cheaper materials, lower-grade steel, and synthetic insulation, affecting heat retention and durability. Further, Fontana uses all continuous solid-weld in the dome construction of each oven, not the spot welding or screws you may find in some other ovens.
We are proud to say, many of the first Fontana wood-fired ovens built in the late 1970s are still in use today.
